Under Armour’s support for Indonesia’s National Flag Football Team at SEAFFC 2026 reflects the brand’s commitment to supporting athletes who continually challenge themselves and push their limits in competition.
“We are proud to see Indonesian athletes demonstrate spirit, discipline, and competitiveness throughout the championship. For us, sports are not just about the final results, but also about having the courage to keep growing and giving your best. Meanwhile, the men’s team topped the group stage with a record of three wins and one loss before defeating Malaysia 24–13 in the semifinals. Indonesia’s Siti Getanamira was also named Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the women’s category.
“The women’s team winning the championship and the men’s team finishing as runner-up demonstrate the growth and competitiveness of Indonesian flag football at the regional level. Support from partners such as Under Armour helps us provide athletes with an increasingly rewarding competitive experience while introducing flag football to a wider Indonesian audience ahead of its debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games,” said Afie Panigoro, Head of National Team Development at the Indonesian American Football Association (AAFI).
Flag football will make its Olympic debut at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. As the sport continues to grow, SEAFFC 2026 brought together Southeast Asian national teams for regional competition.
